The awards of the 1st international archaeology film festival Split, Croatia

On November 26, 2010 the National Jury of the 1st International Archaeology Film Festival in Split, Croatia composed of the following members:

  • Đelo Hadžiselimović, president Foreign program editor, Croatian National Television
  • Vedrana Delonga, museum advisor, Museum of Croatian Archaeological Monuments, Split
  • Carmen Lhotka, Head of the Croatian Cinemateque
  • Nenad Cambj, archaeologist, Member of the Croatian Academy of Arts and Sciences
  • Dan Oki, associate professor at the Arts Academy – Dept. of Film and Video

HAS AWARDED THE FOLLOWING:

1. prize: The Lost Ship of Venice, Marco Visalberghi / Maurice Ribière, La compagnie des Taxi-Brousse / Doclab, France /Italy, 2006

2. prize: Traces of a City - Carcassonne, Henri-Louis Poirier, PY productions, France, 2006

3. prize: When the Egyptians Sailed the Red Sea, Stéphane Bégoin, Sombrero & Co., France, 2009

The special AGON prize was awarded to the film The Precious Stone of Croatia – The Bascanska Tablet, Bernardin Modric, Istra Film, 2000.
